The PS2 version allows you to swap between 1st person and 3rd person, an innovative real-time healing system requiring players to manually disinfect and bandage wounds,
and an environmental inventory in limited to what Carnby can physically carry in his jacket.
Combat emphasizes improvisation, letting players wield everyday objects as melee weapons or combine them to craft torches and improvised tools.
