Onimusha: Warlords for the PlayStation 2 is an action-adventure hack-n-slash that blends action gameplay with elements of survival horror and historical fiction. It's the 1st installment in the Onimusha series and set in feudal Japan. It follows the story of a samurai named Samanosuke Akechi as he battles demons and supernatural forces using samurai weapons such as swords and other melee weaponry. On top of that, you can collect souls from defeated enemies which can be used to upgrade weapons, armour and abilities. You can unlock bonus content as well, including alternate costumes and a special mode.
