Dante's Inferno for the PlayStation 3 is an action-adventure hack-n-slash game loosely based on the 1st part of Dante Alighieri's poem The Divine Comedy. Play as Dante, a former Crusader who's on a perilous journey through the nine circles of Hell to rescue his beloved Beatrice. Guided by the poet Virgil, Dante must confront demons, monsters, and his own sins as he navigates through each circle, descending deeper into the infernal realms. Undertake fast-paced, combo-based combat with Dante's iconic Death's Scythe and a Holy Cross. Collect and use souls to upgrade your abilities, weapons and magic.
