Heavenly Sword for the PlayStation 3 is a martial arts action-adventure game revolving around the Heavenly Sword, a powerful weapon that Nariko uses in battle to perform combos, stances and special attacks.
The blade can change into 3 different forms: Speed Stance, Range Stance or Power Stance.
It also makes use of the occasional quick time events, pushing buttons when the game prompts.
The game seamlessly transitions between gameplay and cinematic cutscenes, blurring the lines between the two.
