Tony Hawk Shred for PS3 is an arcade style extreme sports game distinctively defined by its physical Shred Board peripheral. Jump into a globetrotting career mode that takes you through locations like the high speed snowy descents of Whistler Mountain / French Alps to the urban trick environments of New Orleans and the specialized stunt parks of Beijing. The game rrquired any Tony Hawk Activision Board Controller (sold separately) to provide a full body gaming experience, the motion sensing board plugs directly into the console and can be physically modified with snap-on attachments to function as either a skateboard or a snowboard. Players must physically balance and shift their weight on the board to execute tricks, chain together combos, hit specific Scoring Spots, and compete in objective based challenges and races.
